Privacy Policy

Website privacy · Last updated

This policy applies to visits to newwek.com and enquiries sent through this portfolio website. It explains what information is processed, which services help run the site, and the choices available to you.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by Volodymyr Koshman (Newwek), based in Warsaw, Poland. For questions about your information or to make a privacy request, email vladimir.k@newwek.com.

Visiting the website

The site is delivered through Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). Serving a page requires processing technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the requested page or file. This processing allows the website and its public downloads to reach your device. The site has no visitor accounts or payment system.

Analytics and cookies

The live website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it. Analytics runs automatically when the site loads and records page views and interactions such as theme changes, CV downloads, certificate clicks, successful contact-form delivery, and clicks to the meeting calendar. Contact delivery and calendar events do not include the form fields. Google may receive browser and device information, approximate location, and usage statistics. Analytics cookies can identify a browser across visits.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. See Google’s explanation of Analytics data collection for more detail.

Contacting me

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, subject, and message are sent through EmailJS to deliver your enquiry to me. The form sends these details when you press the submit button. I use the information to read and respond to your enquiry, and replies are handled through my email service. You can also contact me directly by email. A draft stays in the open page’s memory while you move between sections; it is cleared when you reload or close the page and is not saved to local storage. Please include only the information needed for your enquiry.

Storage on your device

Your theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key theme-color. A service worker also caches public pages, assets, fonts, and PDF downloads to help load the site. It does not cache contact-form submissions. You can remove this stored data using your browser’s controls for this website; doing so resets the saved theme and removes cached copies.

Fonts and external links

Fonts are served with the website rather than requested from an external font service. Links to LinkedIn, Notion Calendar, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Those services are linked from this site rather than embedded in its pages.

Service providers and data locations

Hosting, analytics, form delivery, and email services process the information needed for their respective functions. Their infrastructure may process information outside the European Union. Details of provider processing and applicable safeguards are described in the privacy policies of Amazon Web Services, Google, and EmailJS.

How long information is kept

Contact messages can remain in the email mailbox and service-provider records after delivery. Retention depends on the correspondence, follow-up needs, applicable obligations, and the providers’ settings and policies. You can email me to request deletion. Browser storage remains subject to your browser’s storage controls and any expiry or removal applied by the relevant service.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to restrict or object to certain processing. Send requests to vladimir.k@newwek.com. Some requests may require information to confirm your identity or locate the relevant correspondence, and legal exceptions may apply. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

You can manage cookies, local storage, and cached site data in your browser. For information held by an external provider, its own privacy controls may also be relevant.

This policy may change as the website or its services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
